Yerba-Guarana Energy Smoothie

Guarana Mate Energy Smoothie

You will need: CBSe Yerba Mate with Guarana, 3 cups of frozen fruit (peaches, strawberries and mangos), 3 cups of unsweetened almond or coconut milk, 3 spoons of stevia (more if you prefer a sweeter taste), 5 drops of vanilla. A sifter and a blender.

Preparation: Sift the yerba mate to separate the powder from the leaves and stems. Keep the powder aside as a garnish at the end. Prepare the first brew of 2 cups of CBSe Yerba Mate with Guarana in the traditional way. Let it brew for at least 15 minutes, let it cold down and the put it in the fridge for 2 hrs. Next, mix the frozen fruits, milk, stevia and vanilla in a blender until it gets the consistency of ice cream. Add the 2 cups of cold yerba mate. Leave your smoothie in the freezer for 10 minutes.

To serve: pour into your drinking container, sprinkle ground yerba mate powder over the top … and enjoy!
